Have a Holly Jolly Jazzy Christmas at the Betty Jayne! On December 9th, come to the Betty Jayne and get jazzy with the Kevin Hart Trio! The trio will be playing a fantastic mix of your favorite holiday jazz standards as well as selections from Vince Guaraldi's dazzling score from the 1965 holiday television classic A Charlie Brown Christmas.
Enjoy colorful renditions of holiday classics such as Winter Wonderland, Silver Bells, and Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas. The talented trio will take you back in time with your Charlie Brown favorites -- the melancholy Christmas Time is Here, the sparkling joy of Skating, and the funky O Christmas Tree. Guaraldi's score will instantly transport you back to a simpler time - your childhood.

If weather permits the Nanawall will be open, but this event will most likely be held inside. No entry fee for this special Open Mic! CWTC Presents Inspiring Abilities Art Show (Tickets: $25)
CWTC, Community Workshop and Training Center, Inc., presents the “Inspiring Abilities Art Show.” Join us for an evening showcasing the many talents of our CWTC consumers through their paintings and pottery. Pieces will be on display and for sale during our silent auction with proceeds benefiting the artist and the Inspiring Art Abilities Program. Admission is just $25 and includes hors d'oeuvres and cash bar. Tickets are available online at cwt.org.
The Inspiring Art Abilities program provides individuals with disabilities the opportunity to engage in the creative development of artwork under the direction of skilled, community-based artists. The program was set up to inspire individuals with disabilities to express themselves through increased access to art, while building self-esteem and self-discipline to appreciate, and increase their knowledge about art.

Join us for emily the band on October 28th! emily the band is a three-piece indie group from Peoria. The young trio features guitar, ukulele, drums, and beautiful vocals. They play original music as well as covers. The girls’ unique style gives a fresh new sound to songs by Olivia Rodrigo, beabadoobee, and more!
Emily, Cami, and Abbey originally joined forces to play their first set as a trio to commemorate the release of Emily's debut EP, "living room." The three friends became emily the band, and they have been living their rockstar dreams ever since. The group has played headlining shows across Illinois and supported acts such as The Accidentals, Sarah & The Underground, and New Souls. Emily the band strives to show audiences that there is a space for everyone in the music industry.

Join us for our First Annual Roots Fall Fest! The Midwest music scene is thriving, and it’s time to celebrate! On October 22nd, experience the first annual Roots Fall Fest at the Betty Jayne. The Roots Fall Fest is a celebration of American roots music! The festival will bring together local, regional, and state-wide bands as they celebrate their remarkable talents and their musical journeys!
This year’s festival will be a 1-day event featuring 5 acts who found their start in Illinois. The line-up includes a wide array of music including Native American music, gospel, bluegrass, folk, and americana! Chicago-based bluegrass group Fox Crossing Stringband will be headlining the event! Fox Crossing is known for their beautiful harmonies, original songwriting, and entertaining stage presence!

The Betty Jayne and the Scottish Rite Theatre are partnering with the Fogelberg Foundation of Peoria to present a special weekend of events! Kick the weekend off with the pre-party, Fogelberg: Home Free, at the Betty Jayne Friday, September 30th. The evening will be led by a talented group of musicians playing your Fogelberg favorites! The Betty’s classy yet casual atmosphere is the perfect place to gather prior to the main event at the Scottish Rite Theatre, Dan Fogelberg: Native Son.
Native Son is a staged concert with performances both Saturday, October 1st and Sunday, October 2nd at The Scottish Rite Theatre in downtown Peoria. An ensemble cast of singers and dancers joins a 12-piece band to perform over 30 iconic Dan Fogelberg songs! This special tribute honors the timeless music of Dan Fogelberg on the 50th anniversary of his debut album. The theatrical combination of storytelling, music, and dance will introduce a new generation to the musical legacy of Dan Fogelberg and re-inspire old friends of Dan's music.

Stephanie now calls Chicago her home and delights in singing the songs that found their place in history as The Great American Songbook. Taste It Tuesday ($20 Advance / $22 Day of Event)
Join us for an evening of cocktails, tastings, light hors d’oeuvres and music by Jonny Quest! Our guest bartender, David Allee, will demonstrate how to make three delicious cocktails, and you will get the chance to sample each of them! This month’s featured cocktails are a Cinnamon Piloncillo Old Fashioned, a Chili Hibiscus Paloma and a Bitter Orange Daiquiri! These specialty cocktails will also be served at the bar for the rest of the evening!
